A CREATIVE SOUL
with an ear for language...an eye for design
About Me
I was born a creative soul. From making my own stationery and taking stained glass classes in middle school to making a papier-mache head for my high school's mascot and designing the senior prom poster, I have always loved expressing my unique vision in many different ways. Upon graduation, I had to choose between attending art school or a liberal arts college, and chose to pursue a bachelor's degree in creative writing at Middlebury College in Vermont. Since then, I have amassed more than two decades of experience writing, editing, and proofreading copy for multiple media, in various industries. I pride myself on internalizing the customer viewpoint in order to craft compelling copy that incorporates reasons to buy. I believe that if you're going to spend 8+ hours a day at work, you should have FUN! My coworkers quickly become family, and I strive to cultivate strong working relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization. I have been fortunate enough to earn the trust of the designers I've worked with, and they've allowed me to work directly in their InDesign layouts, which keeps my design muscles from atrophying.
It's all about keeping that creative flame burning.
"No matter what anybody tells you, words and ideas can change the world."
